Unless otherwise stated, everything should begin today.

A new Rugby session for P5-7 pupils begins this Tuesday 4-5pm at Brae Downie with Mr Preston.  All interested players should attend on Tuesday.

In order for some of our clubs to continue, we are in need of further volunteers;

Girls Shinty

P4/5 Football

P5-7 Badminton (from October)

The following activities will not be able to begin until we recruit volunteers;

P1 shinty

P1 football

There will be no activities on Saturday 15^th September, Monday 17^th September or Tuesday 18^th September due to the inservice days.

As always, we are more than happy to look at adding additional activities to our calendar. Please be in touch with the school if you would like to help.

All pupils taking part in the Soccer 7’s tournament tomorrow should be at the High School for 10.15.  Players will be given tops to use but will wear their own short and socks.

With so many of our pupils accessing online gaming, websites etc., we wanted to share
the Net Aware resource with you. Net Aware offers up to date information about the
games children are accessing in regards to age and content appropriateness. It is
definitely worth taking a look.

It is an excellent website, which gives parents a guide on what Social Media platforms actually are, their suitability and their age limit.

August Newsletter

We very much look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow – Tuesday 21st August at 9.06am!

We hope everyone has had a lovely holiday and is ready to get back to work!

Today we celebrated our Annual Prizegiving Ceremony. We celebrated academic, sporting and lots of other achievements over this very busy year.  Below, you can see photos of our Prize Winners.

We also celebrated the achievements of our Primary Sevens who will be moving on to Portree High School after the summer.  They have been a wonderful class and we wish them all the best.

If you wish to order through the school,  could you please return the order form no later than Wednesday 27^th June to the office with the correct amount of cash/ or cheque, to ensure the ordered uniforms arrive back at the school prior to commencement of the new school session in August. The school will notify you when they have been delivered.

Please note, there are ‘Assistance with School Clothing’ application forms available at school reception if required. Printed copies of the uniform order sheet will also be made available.

These can be used to share achievements at home with us in school.  If your child has done something amazing at home, we’d be delighted to hear about it!

Each Wow Certificate earns a child 5 House Points!

Our Open Morning for this term will be held on Friday 15^th June.

Parents are invited to join us at 10.45am to hear from some of our pupils about what they have been learning this term and also about our School Improvement priorities for next session.  You will then be able to visit your child’s class to view their profiles and general class work.

Pupils can be dismissed with parents, if desired.
