Dear Parents and Carers,

COVID 19

Following the completion of the Risk Assessment with the Health Protection Team the Primary 3 Class will later today be issued with a Step Down Letter to communicate to each family when their child can return to school/normal activities.  Thank you for your continued patience and understanding at this time.

A reminder that the most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of:

  • new continuous cough and/or
  • high temperature
  • a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell

However, people with COVID-19 can present with a wide range of symptoms including headache, sore muscles and joints, tiredness, sore throat, cold-like symptoms and diarrhoea and vomiting.

If anyone in the household develops symptoms, the current national guidance for testing and isolation should be followed.
