 Christmas Concert Tickets

Tickets for the annual Christmas concert which will take place on Thursday 17 December at 6.45pm in the Community Centre are now on sale from the school office at the discounted price of £5.00.The doors will be open at 6.00pm and the cost of  admission will be £6.00 for those paying at the door. Those people who have purchased tickets in advance will be fast tracked to their seats and will not have to wait in the queue. In terms of the concert itself pupils will get information of where they require to be on the night, by Tuesday 15^th December.

 

Bonanza Draw Tickets

Parents are encouraged to sell their Bonanza tickets by Tuesday 15^th December and return all stubs, money and unsold tickets to the school by this date or by 3.15p.m. on the 16^th at the latest. The draw will take place at the concert on the 17^th.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Xmas Fayre

This takes place this Friday at 10.00 in the school Gym Hall. All school and nursery classes will have stalls and all parents are invited to attend. The Parent Council will  be serving teas and mince pies and will also have a Party Clothes Stall. There will also be a raffle and a guess the weight of the cake stall.

Staff have  asked parents to remember the following:

 

• No goods will be sold before 10.00 when the Fayre will be officially opened.
• Parents should not arrive for the Fayre before 9.50 a.m. as pupils will still be setting up until this time.
• Parents should bring their own bags for taking away purchases although a limited number of special bags will also be on sale at the P6 stall.
• If possible parents are asked to pay for goods using pound coins and small notes.

Did you know that whenever you buy anything online this Christmas – from the perfect gift and novelty socks to your turkey and pantomime tickets – you could be raising a free donation for Portree Primary School Parent Council Fundraising?

There are nearly 3,000 retailers on board ready to make a donation, including Amazon, John Lewis, Argos, Smyths Toy Superstore, Disney Store and Apple – it doesn’t cost you a penny extra!

It’s really simple, all you have to do is:

 

1. Join – Head to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/portreeprimaryschool and sign up for free.

2. Shop – Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first, pick the retailer you want and start shopping. Or download the toolbar and let them remind you each time you go online.

3. Raise – After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause for no extra cost whatsoever!

 

Please help us this Christmas by giving more than a gift – there are no catches or hidden charges and Portree Primary School Parent Council Fundraising will be really grateful for your donations.
