Budget Cuts For Schools
Budget Cuts For Schools:
Portree Primary School’s Parent Council recently responded to the Highland Council’s consultation on budget cuts with particular reference to the many cuts to Education which is now part of The Care and Learning Service.
The Parent Council were very concerned about some of the proposed cuts and sent a letter to the Director of Care and Learning, Mr. Bill Alexander.

Pupils should bring money for the merchandise on Thursday and Friday.
Cost of merchandise-
Pudsey Ears- £2.50
Wristbands- £1.00 , £1.50 or £2.00

Photographer
The school photograph proofs have been sent home today and it would be appreciated if parents could observe the following:
- Follow the ordering instructions in the proof pack.
- Return all money and orders to class teachers by Friday 7th November
- Make sure any cheques are made payable to, Lochiel Photographics, and not Portree Primary School and write the school name on the back of the cheque.
- Remember that no orders can be processed if the order form and the proof card are not returned.
Remember that any late orders not returned to the school by 7th November will have to be organised directly with the photographer.
