Due to today’s power-cut and advice from SSE the school concert tonight is postponed. It is hoped to hold the concert on Monday night but final confirmation will be sent out tomorrow.

Budget Cuts For Schools:
Portree Primary School’s Parent Council recently responded to the Highland Council’s consultation on budget cuts with particular reference to the many cuts to Education which is now part of The Care and Learning Service.
The Parent Council were very concerned about some of the proposed cuts and sent a letter to the Director of Care and Learning, Mr. Bill Alexander.
