The delivery drivers will have brief information on the three finalist projects for our area, and voting slips. Tesco have just confirmed that we have won one of the three prizes for the Nature Trail project.  Voting by customers during week 27th Feb – 6th March will decide which prize.

The Garden Club would like to improve the Nature Trail at the front of the school and make it a place that can be used all year round with new fencing, benches, trees, shrubs and wooden play items.  We have the chance to secure some funding for this project from Tesco Bags of Help but need your help to do this by voting for the project.  Watch this space for voting info.

Tesco has teamed up with greenspace scotland to launch its Bags of Help initiative in Scotland. The scheme will see three community groups and projects in each of these regions awarded grants of £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 – all raised from the 5p bag charge. Bags of Help offers community groups and projects in each of Tesco’s regions across the UK a share of revenue generated from the five pence charge levied on single-use carrier bags. The public will now vote in store from 27 February until 6 March on who should receive the £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 awards.

Follow this link www.tesco.com/bagsofhelp and get ready to vote soon.
