    Portree Primary School had a successful day winning both the P1/2 tournament and the P3-5 tournament.

  • Portree Primary School children win Ruaraidh Hilleary Eco Competition

    Portree Primary school took part in, and won a competition sponsored by Vattenfall, who run the Edinbane Windfarm.

    Skye schools were invited to work on different projects over the year looking at ecological issues, and how to improve their eco footprint and encourage others to do the same.  This work included environmental reviews of classes, growing vegetables and recycling clothing.

    Portree Primary School was awarded first prize, Dunvegan Primary School and Edinbane Primary School were runners up.

  • Fours Fun Festival Success!

     

    Well done to Brody MacQueen, Ruairaidh MacLeod, Tim Nicolson and Thomas Duncan who went to the Fours Fun Festival at Millburn Academy.  Lots of effort on the pitch – seven games played  – 6 won, one draw (1:1)  Great sportsmanship and team spirit shown by all four team members, Well done boys!teams

  • PPS 999

    Following the success of the P7 PPS999 Enterprise Project, that won the Blythswood Enterprise Prize and and raised over £4000.00 to support the refurbishment of fire-engines to go to Eastern Europe, the PPS logo was placed on a fire-engine that was fully refurbished with the money raised at the school. Thanks go to all the Emergency Services and community members who supported P7 with their project.
