Over this session Primary 3 have been trialling a mental maths program called Sumdog.  This has led to increased motivation and accuracy in mental maths. As class teacher it has been fantastic to see how excited the children get about maths. The class have evaluated this program with positive responses – they love it! The school received excellent feedback from parents too.

P3 entered a Highland wide schools contest through the facility of Sumdog. 36 schools took part which included 379 pupils.  Daily winner’s – P3 achieved 1^st place on Tuesday 9^th and 3^rd place overall.

Artur Milczarek achieved  6^th place overall.
