1. How much is Dinner Money?

Presently the daily cost is £2.30. Primary 1-4’s receive a free school meal.

2. What time does school start?

We start school at 9.06 am.  The playground is not supervised until 8.50am, so children should not arrive before this time.

5. What happens if my child is ill or late?

If your child is ill they need to say at home. You must phone school on 01478 613130 to inform the school. If your child is late arriving at school they need to go directly to the School Office.

6. What can my child take for snack and packed lunch?

The school promotes a healthy food policy.  Please do not send glass bottles or fizzy drinks. Healthy snacks are encouraged. Healthy snacks and drinks can be purchased at break time from the canteen.  The school is a nut free zone, please do not provide nut based snacks.

7. Can my child cycle to school?

Yes, with parental permission. They must have a safe, roadworthy bike and they must wear a helmet. A secure bike shelter is provided on the school site.  Bikes must not be ridden in the school playground, but walked through the playground to the bike store.

8.  What’s the best way to contact my child’s teacher?

School diaries should be used to inform class teachers of appointments, questions or
concerns.  We are more than happy to meet with parents to discuss any matters relating
to your children. If you wish to meet with a member of staff, please make an
appointment through the homework diary, email or by telephone.
